Game 1 Feb 22: Skyline hit 28 of 36 free throws (78 percent), including 11 of 13 in the fourth quarter. The Spartans trailed by five going into the final period. The teams combined for 38 fouls and 48 free throws. Samantha Angel got 12 of her team-high 19 points in the fourth quarter for Skyline (11-9). Jordan Pelluer scored 14 and Madison Maloney 13 for the Spartans. Redmond (11-10) wasted a season-best 31 points and 14 rebounds by senior Erika Edwards

Game 2 Feb 25: At Juanita, Ballard regained its composure after blowing a 13-point first-half lead, and held on to beat Redmond in a KingCo 4A district loser-out game Saturday at Juanita High School. A pair of 6-foot senior posts, Gillian Huggins and Charlotte Shannon, combined for 28 points to lead the Beavers (12-10). Ballard advances to play Roosevelt on Tuesday. With Redmond senior star Erika Edwards hampered by foul trouble, Lina Perugini had 14 points and Katie Kruger had eight points and nine rebounds for the Mustangs (11-11).
