1998-99 Season:
There are over 100 KingCo girls
basketball players and some of the best are Mustangs. Incredibly, all five
Redmond starters were named to the Seattle
Times All-KingCo 4A Basketball Teams. Emily Ashbaugh was selected to
1st Team, Lisa Milne to 2nd Team, and Bree Barnes, Emily Tarr, and Paige
Benjamin were Honorable Mention.
After two outstanding performances
last weekend, Emily Ashbaugh was named Seattle
Times Star of the Week. The team also returned to state
rankings, coming in at 13th after impressive district wins over
Snohomish and Sehome. That performance also earned the Mustangs the award
of Seattle
Times Star Team of the Week.
