Alex Tosti

Alex started playing basketball in the
third grade with the boys and girls club program. She played with
the Redmond Select Program from 5th grade through 9th grade, and with the
Seattle Magic program from 5th grade through 10th grade. This past summer
she played with the Puget Sound Cascades. At Evergreen JH she played varsity
all three years, receiving the MVP award her 9th grade year. Alex also
received the MVP award in the Little Oregon City tournament two years in a
row. She has been on Varsity for her sophomore and junior seasons at the
high school and received the acedemic excellence award last year. In school
she works hard to get good grades, she currently has a 3.98 GPA. Alex loves
to coach and helps out with the Redmond Select program and the Redmond Jr
High team whenever she gets the chance. Alex also loves hanging out with her
family and friends and going to church.
5 Elizabeth
Petrie
Elizabeth
started basketball in the 6th grade with the Boys and girls Club and then joined
the Redmond Select program in the 7th grade. It only took one year for
Elizabeth to decide that basketball was the sport for her. She plays for
Emerald City during the summer and has received a chance to travel because of
it. She also enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding. Elizabeth is
active in the community through Assistants League and the school through the Key
Club. She is very excited for the season this year and hopes to be able to
contribute.

Rachel Gillum
Rachel
began playing basketball in the third grade through Redmond Parks and
Recreation and continued playing for the Redmond Select program, Redmond
Junior High, and for the AAU Seattle Magic program.
Rachel was selected co-captain as well as MVP in the ninth grade on her
junior high team and went to Nationals with her Magic team two years in a row.
Rachel is involved in other activities such as track, the honors
program and works part-time at Emerald Heights. She is Junior class president,
loves school, church, and spending time with her friends and family.
Rachel is excited and looking forward to a great season.

Megan West
Megan
has been playing basketball since the second grade, where she played in the
Northshore Youth Basketball Association. She was also involved with the
Eastlake and Redmond Select programs until ninth grade. Megan has played
soccer since the second grade as well. In her high school career she was a
four year letter winner for the Varsity Soccer Team, a second team All-Kingco
selection her junior year, a first team All Kingco and All Eastside Player her
senior year, as well as Team MVP for Defense both years. Megan looks forward
to being involved with the basketball program and having a successful season.

Claire Pallansch

Claire led Redmond in
rebounding last season with a wingspan of 75 inches. She also lead the 4A state
basketball tournament for 2003 in rebounding with 40. At the End of the Oregon
Trail in June, Claire was the Co-MVP when Redmond took 2nd place.
Claire takes an American Sign Language class at Bellevue Community College, and
volunteers weekly at Bailey Boushay House in an Adult Day Health Program for
adults living with AIDS. She maintains a 3.5 GPA, and is headed to Oregon State
University next year to play basketball for the Beavers.

Tanna Radtke
Tanna
has played basketball since the first grade. She began with Redmond Parks
Department grades 1-5, then played Redmond Select grades 6-9. She has played
summer ball for Seattle Magic, also since 6th grade. Tanna also loves to play
soccer. She’s played on various select and recreational teams, plus 2 years for
the RHS JV Soccer team. Tanna enjoys being with her friends and her family, and
is looking forward to this year's basketball season.

Mackenzie Flynn
Mackenzie
will be returning as a second year Varsity player. She started playing
basketball in Kindergarten, at the Kirkland Boys & Girls Club. When she was in
the fifth grade, she began playing for the Redmond Select program and continued
to do so throughout the ninth grade. Throughout the summer Mackenzie plays for
the Puget Sound Flight Program, under the direction of Terry Graham and Dennis
Edwards. She has received many awards throughout the years, including the
All-Tournament team for two straight years at the Little Oregon City
tournament. Last year, as a tenth grader, she received the Redmond High
School "Coaches Award." Mackenzie also tied a high school record last year
shooting 56% from the two-point range. Mackenzie looks forward to another fun
and exciting season of Redmond basketball!

Colleen Betteridge

Colleen’s basketball
career started when she was in kindergarten playing co-ed RAC basketball until 4th
grade. She started playing for Redmond Select in 5th grade through 8th
grade. From 7th to 9th grade, Colleen was part of the
Evergreen Junior High varsity basketball team. Colleen has played for many AAU
basketball teams such as: Seattle Magic, Rotary Lady Style, Triple Threat, Puget
Sound Flight and is currently playing for the Y.E.S. team in Seattle. In 2001,
Colleen attended the 16 and under Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) National
Championship in Lafayette, Louisiana. From 2001 to 2003 Colleen has won the MVP
awards while attending the NBC All Star camps. She has also won the 2001 and
2003 MVP award at the University Of Washington basketball camp and made the All
Star team. In 2001 she won the Redmond Select MVP of the year. She currently
maintains a 4.0 GPA and is part of the National Honor Society. Colleen is
looking forward to a fun and exciting year with the mustangs and wants to
contribute her best to help the team achieve their goals.

Jackie Olson Jackie
started basketball in the 2nd grade. She joined the Redmond Select
program in the 6th grade. Jackie enjoys playing any sport, but
basketball is her first love and volleyball is her second. Jackie is a member of
the
Honor Society, and a volunteer at Emerald Heights.
She currently maintains a 4.0 grade point average with honors. She is
very excited about playing
ball for Redmond High School and hopes to contribute to the team's
success in 2002/2003 year.

Erika Edwards
Erika has played
basketball since the 3rd grade when she played for Redmond Boys and
Girls Club. She started playing for the Redmond Select Program in the 4th
grade. She played Varsity basketball for Evergreen Junior High for 3 years,
earning the MVP award in her 9th grade year. She enjoys playing in
the summer with her Puget Sound Flight Team and traveling to tournaments with
her friends. She was awarded the MVP award at the Oregon City Tournament in
2003 as well as named to the All-Tournament Team the past 3 years. When not
playing basketball, Erika loves hanging out with her friends. She is excited
to finally be playing high school basketball for the Mustangs and hopes the
team has lots of success in the coming years.
