Christine Isherwood
Christine
began playing basketball in first grade. She played on various AAU teams
during her 1st-5th grade years, played for the Redmond Select Girls Basketball
Club during her 5th-9th grade years, played for the Seattle Magic Girls
Basketball Club during her 6th-7th grade years, and played for the Puget Sound
Flight Girls Basketball Club during her 8th-10th grade years.
At Evergreen Junior High, Christine played one year of junior varsity
basketball, winning the Offensive Player of the Year Award her 7th grade year,
and two years of varsity basketball, winning the MVP Award her 9th grade year.
At Redmond High School, Christine played junior varsity and varsity
basketball during her 10th grade year, and is currently playing varsity
basketball during her 11th grade year. Christine
was named to the All-Tournament Team at the
Oregon
City
Tournament in 2004. Christine maintains a 3.4 GPA and enjoys spending time
with her family and friends.

Lina Perugini Lina
stopped playing Parks and Rec. basketball in elementary school to
become a competitive gymnast. She joined Redmond Select basketball in the 6th
grade and has played year round basketball ever since, including Puget Sound
Flight. In 2003, she tore her ACL and was out for one year. It was an
interesting experience and made her stronger in every way. She is honored to
be a member of the varsity team and continues to play "for the love of
the game". She is excited for this season, experiencing everything
associated with high school basketball and looks forward to
the next 2 years as a member of the Lady Stangs. When not on the court, Lina
enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, and hanging out with her friends.
10 Hannah
Tews Hannah
started playing competitive Basketball in 4th grade with Cedar Park
Christian School. In 5th she played on the Kirkland Force Select
team. In 6th grade she started playing for the mustangs select
program. Hannah has played AAU
Basketball with Seattle Magic, Puget Sound Flight, and is currently playing
for Triple Threat. Hannah wishes to play in the collegiate level in the
future. During her free time Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and
friends.
11 Rachel
Fishel
Rachel,
sometimes known as "Fish" hopes to go to school in Santa Barbara and
live in
California
after college. She is interested in being a psychologist or owning her own
business. Besides playing basketball she likes to hang out in Chelan and with
her friends. She has a rottweiler named Brandy.
14 Rachel
Houser
Rachel
began playing basketball in the third grade for the Troy, Ohio, program and
continued through 6th grade Select and the 7th grade team where she was
Co-Captain for both teams. She was a member of the AAU Dayton Lady Hoopstars (
Ohio
) team and played in the U10 and U11 National Championships. Rachel moved to the
Redmond
area and was a member of
Redmond
Select and the Evergreen Jr. High Varsity team. She played AAU basketball for
the Seattle Magic and
Northwest HoopGurlz
. She is a member of the Redmond Varsity Track team and qualified last year for
the KingCo Championships in both the discus and shot put. Rachel's interests
include playing the guitar, photography and snow- boarding.
She looks forward to her senior year as a Mustang.

Hannah Leuning
Hannah
has been playing basketball for the Redmond program since 5th grade. She played
varsity basketball at Redmond Junior High where she received the MVP award her
9th grade year. While at RJH, Hannah was awarded "Female Athlete of the
Year" and received the Gold Presidential Scholar Award. Hannah has played
AAU basketball for the Seattle Magic and the
Puget Sound
Flight and, at the Oregon City Tournament, was named to the All-Tournament
Team. Hannah maintains a 3.8 GPA and is headed to UW or OSU next year. When not
playing basketball, Hannah enjoys hanging out with friends, relaxing in the sun,
and working out.
24 Hollie
Sare
Senior
Hollie began playing basketball in
the 3rd grade while living in
Wyoming
. She moved in the 8th grade to Orcas Island and recently moved to Redmond.
Hollie played in the Oregon City Tournament, the Portland Select MVP Tournament
and for Evergreen Select. When not playing basketball she enjoys hanging out
with her friends and family, riding horses, playing softball and traveling.

Mary Petrie
Mary
started playing soccer and basketball at eight years old with the local Boys
and Girls Club and as a fifth grader, she made the sixth grade Redmond Select
team. She continued four more years with the Redmond High School Select
program as their starting point guard, averaging 15.4 points per game.
She started AAU in the fifth grade with the Seattle Magic and joined Puget
Sound Flight in the seventh grade where she has continued to play. Her
highlights with Puget Sound Flight include in eighth grade, winning the
Reno
tournament. She received the MVP
award. In ninth grade the team was the Oregon City-End of the Trail Champions
and Mary was named Oregon City All Tournament.
She was top scorer of her team, for the 2005 season, with an average of
8.5 points per game. Mary also plays the violin with the Redmond High School
Orchestra and has participated in Honors violin for the past three years. She
is a member of the National Honor Society with a four-point grade average and
has participated in leadership since the sixth grade holding various positions
including President and Historian. In her spare time, she enjoys reading
and being with friends and family.

Malia Corby
Malia
started playing basketball in the 1st grade for a recreational team called
NYBA. She continued playing for this team for 6 years. In the 5th grade she
joined a traveling team, the Seattle Storm that was coached by some family
friends. They were a very successful team and traveled to Orlando, Florida to
compete. At the same time Malia was playing soccer a hobby she have up in the
8th grade to play basketball. From 7th - 9th grade Malia played for the
Redmond Select program and the
Puget Sound
Flight. She also played basketball at Redmond Junior High for three years. As
a 7th grader Malia was nominated MVP by her teammates. In the 8th grade she
made Varsity and was given the Coaches award. In her last year at Redmond
Junior High, she was nominated for both the MVP and Coaches award. Malia's
first year at Redmond High she made JV where she was voted by her teammates as
Captain and was presented the MVP award. Malia
enjoys playing basketball and can't wait for another great season.

Katie Kruger
Katie
has enjoyed playing basketball since 2nd grade. She played for Inglemoor
Select her 6th - 9th grade years. Katie also has played AAU basketball for the
Puget Sound Flight for the past 3 years. Katie received the "Most
Rebounds" award last year. Katie is so excited to have the opportunity to
play basketball with her new Redmond Varsity Team this
year. As a sophomore Katie will be able to contribute for the next 3 years to
a great program! During her summer break she enjoys vacationing at
Lake
Chelan.

Erika Edwards
Erika
has been playing basketball since the 3rd grade starting with the Redmond Boys
and Girls Club and then playing for the Redmond Select Program from the 4th
grade through 9th grade. She played Varsity basketball for Evergreen Junior
High, earning the MVP award in her 9th grade year.
She played AAU basketball for
Puget Sound
Flight the past 4 years and enjoyed traveling to tournaments around the
country. This will be Erika’s 3rd year on Varsity at
Redmond
. Last year she was the top rebounder in the 4A
KingCo
State
tourney where RHS placed 8th. Last year she was also named to the 4A KingCo
1st team. This year as Captain, she looks forward to a great season with her
team and hopes for great success for RHS. Next year, Erika will be continuing
her basketball career at
Sacramento
State
. When not playing basketball, Erika loves to shop and hang out with "the
Crew."

Caitlynn Leach
Caitlynn
has been playing basketball for 9 years. In the 1st - 4th grade she played for
Redmond
Parks
and Recreation, then she played for Redmond Select, 5th - 9th grade. She also
played for Seattle Magic in 6th and 7th grade. She took her sophomore year off
and is now playing again. She also played softball 1st - 4th grade and then
again in 9th. She played for the Redmond North All-Stars in 4th grade, she
still enjoys playing, but isn’t on a team. Caitlynn has also shown horses.
She started riding in the 1st grade, but didn’t start showing until 4th. She
received high point in one of the last shows in the season and was voted most
improved novice. She went to fair and got reserve champion in trail. Although
she hasn’t shown in a while, she is getting back out there. When Caitlynn is
not off playing basketball or riding horses, she
enjoys hanging out with friends and going to movies.
