7 Summary:
After outscoring Eastlake 11-3 to start the game, Redmond allowed the Titans to cut the gap to 14-12 before the Mustangs (5-2) worked into their rhythm. Overcoming intense defensive quickness in the Holiday Classic is proving to be a major benefit for Redmond. Steady, consistent play helped Redmond widen their lead throughout the third and fourth quarters. Rebounding was key to the Mustang's success as they had a 49-20 edge over Eastlake. 8 Summary:
Dec 30 - In the Consolation Championship game of the Oregon Holiday Classic, Redmond bolted to an early 9-2 lead before Colony High (Palmer, Alaska), last year's Alaska State Champions, rallied to take the first quarter lead at 14-11. Redmond's speed enabled them to take a two point halftime lead which they widened to 12 after 3 periods. The fourth quarter was a complete turnaround for the Knights, hitting outside shots to tie the score at 51-51 with 24 seconds to play. After a Redmond turnover, Colony also mishandled the ball, forcing a desperation shot that was good with one second on the clock. Redmond - Tarr
